PRAYER+UPDATES
THIS IS A PLACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FOLLOW AND JOIN IN MY JOURNEY THROUGH PRAYER. IF YOU WOULD, I ASK THAT YOU CONTINUALLY INTERCEDE ON MY BEHALF AND WHEN GOD BRINGS VICTORIES WHILE ON MY JOURNEY, THAT WE COULD CELEBRATE THEM TOGETHER!

PRAYER REQUESTS
-LITERACY SCHOOL:
My co-worker, Noby helped train up and organize a literacy school for the Bisorio Language before she left. It’s sweet to see close to seventy students come every day eager to learn how to read and write. Please pray that they will learn to read. I pray over them every day knowing they are the future and I want them to learn to read and write so badly. The only the book they have is God’s Word (the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament) and it is so inspiring and motivating for me to see them work so hard with a desire to read God’s Word.
-LANGUAGE LEARNING
Pray the Lord will help open up my ears to hear the language and loosen my tongue to speak it. Pray my pride doesn’t win the day and that I continue to build deep friendships with the people here. Pray I will learn quickly and love well in the process.
-There are still a few things that need to be finished up on my house, will you pray that God provides someone to help with those things and that I will trust Him and have patience in the in between?
PRAISES
-i am just so grateful to be living in BISORIO. The Lord has given me joy and friendships, despite not being able to communicate deeply let.
-HEALTH - Praise God with me that other than battling being eaten alive in here by sand fleas and mosquitos, I haven’t gotten sick or come down with malaria. I thank Him every day for my health. Continue to pray God would keep me healthy but also for the health of the people. This is the season of sores and there is a really bad eye infection going around to probably 1 out of 3 kids have it currently and it looks so painful.
-SO THANKFUL for my co-workers, the Kennells + the Walkers. Their endless encouragement and faithfulness spurs me on. Bob just finished the rough draft of the translation of the Old Testament which is a huge step towards getting the entire cannon of scripture into lives of the Bisorios. Please keep praying for all the work that is yet to be done!

For the last two months I have been in PEI, a remote people group of about 200 people with their own unique language and culture living just off the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea. So many new experiences and what once felt uncomfortable or difficult, ultimately led to a heart of gratitude for each moment…Why did I go? What did daily life look like? What’s next?
